Captain's Hill Inn
is a four bedroom, two bath duplex perched on the hillside above
Ketchikan's busy harbor. Spouting whales, float planes,
large ships as well as mountain and island views are just a few sights to keep you entertained from the
windows of this harbor view cottage. The windows of the cottage
are situated so
that you will be captivated by the view from nearly every room.
The location is
perfect! It is in a popular residential area of town along Water
Street within close walking distance to the heart of downtown
but back away from the hectic cruise ship traffic. If you prefer
not to rent a car this would be perfect because what you can't
walk to you can use the city bus which is only a block away.
For those that
are in town to fish this cottage is close to the docks where
most of the charter fishermen depart from.
The bedrooms are
configured with the master bedroom upstairs with a king bed that
can be
made up as 2 twin beds. There is also a smaller second
bedroom upstairs with an extra long twin bed. On the main floor
there is a third bedroom with a king bed that can be
made up as 2 twin beds and a small fourth bedroom off of the
living room with a twin bed. The house can comfortably sleep 6
people. There is also a queen size air bed for a maximum of 8
adults.
On the lower
floor of this duplex is the
Bay View Suite,
a cozy one bedroom apartment that also have a nice view of the
harbor. This one bedroom suite has a kitchen, living room and
bathroom. The bedroom has a king size bed that can be made up as
two twin beds.
